In 2025, Long Course Weekend Belgium will proudly host the very first Festival of Champions – a unique LCW edition where not just the fastest, but every FULL athlete is a champion.

Last year, at LCW events in Belgium, Wales, Mallorca, Yorkshire and New Zealand, 20 athletes were selected at each location: 10 women and 10 men.
Not just podium finishers – 14 random finishers per event also received a golden ticket to this Championship. Simply because they showed up, pushed through, and lived the LCW spirit.
